Every race on the provincial calendar starts with a conversation with the union. Provincial dates are set ahead of the season, so the earlier you write, the more dates are still open.

Say what you have in mind
Your proposed date and a fallback date, the discipline, the town or venue, and roughly how many riders you expect.
Plan from the answer
A clash with another provincial round or a national event costs riders, so settle the date with the union first. Ask the union about sanctioning and the rest of the process for your event.
